So the theme I am using for my website, I developed using a theme framework… Thematic to be more specific. So Urban Soul is a child theme of Thematic. I am still updating, tweaking, and gutting this theme as I use it. After I feel it is more solid of a theme, I may release it to the WordPress community.

I really wanted an simple, original, and color schemed theme to fit my current mood.My creativity and development is really being influenced by all the really good music being put out there recently. Ranging from all sorts of bands like “Empire of the Sun”, “MGMT”, “Bat for Lashes”, and “Nova Lima”.Also from the people I have been socializing with lately.

“Urban Soul to me is the love for the city life, mixed with the diverse cultures that comes with it.“

I found the color scheme using Kuler. The color scheme was named Urban Soul and I thought it really was the perfect name, so I kept it for the theme title.
